I’m looking for a compact digital camera…?

and I’m not sure which kind is the best to buy. I’d like something small enough to fit in my purse. I have a Nikon Coolpix L4 right now which I really like..but I’ve read some bad reviews about the Coolpix L18, which is what I’d be interested in. I’ve also always really liked Kodak Easyshares…they are also relatively inexpensive. Help!!

Although I do not OWN the Canon SD 1100, I did a bunch of research, and C-NET named it ‘the best compact camera’. I’m very interested in buying it because of that, and also because I all ready have an old model that never lets us down =]. It takes excellent quality photographs, and I’m sure the SD 1100 is even more advanced than my old one. Good Luck; Happy Searching!
